Andrew Sibbald bids farewell to the Bayes Entrepreneurship Fund Investment Committee

After 13 years participating in the Bayes Entrepreneurship Fund Investment Committee, where he gave stellar advice and guidance on the Fund’s portfolio as well as incisive questioning to prospective investee companies, Andrew bid farewell to the Fund after the September Investment Committee.

As announced previously, Andrew has joined Warburg Pincus, a leading global growth investor, as Managing Director and Co Head of Europe where he will support the team’s global strategy, portfolio management and new investments.

His astute analysis will be greatly missed and the BEF team and Investment Committee members wish Andrew every success in his new role.

Peter Cullum CBE, Chairman of the Bayes Entrepreneurship Fund Investment Committee says:
”Having worked with Andrew for over 25 years I have always been impressed with his supreme skill and professionalism in the very challenging M&A sector. Andrew has been a long-standing member of the BEF Investment Committee and his wise counsel has been enormously valuable in the context of the early stage investment portfolio. His position as a Visiting Professor at the School signifies his personal standing as a key advisor to the Fund. We wish him continued success at Warburg Pincus.”
