BEF are delighted to announce that BEF portfolio company, Springpod, a specialist careers platform enabling young people to experience the world of work and university, has received £3m in funding from Edge’s “Create the Future” Fund, an ECF supported by the British Business Bank and private investors.

Springpod is the UK's leading provider of virtual work experience for 14 to 19-year-olds and has developed the innovative concept of Subject Spotlights, working with universities to help students find their best fit course. The company’s ultimate goal is for every young person to experience a higher education course or career before they apply, to build knowledge and experience.

The capital raised will enable Springpod to develop further commercial partnerships within the UK whilst expanding its customer base in other geographies such as the US.
