UKBAA launches female Angel investor study in collaboration with Angel Academe and Cass

The UKBAA has recently launched a short online survey, seeking to better understand why only a small proportion of the UK's successful female entrepreneurs and senior professionals use their financial capacity to invest in small businesses.

The research consists of a short online survey that will take no more than 10 minutes to complete and is aimed at both women who invest and especially those who are not currently angel investing.

Working with Angel Academe, and hosted by Cass Business School, the survey will seek to capture data to better understand women's perceptions of angel investing. The research is part of a new EU project called “Women Business Angels for Europe’s Entrepreneurs”, and will review the landscape in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Belgium.

The results will help the UKBAA to develop a focused programme of actions in the next two years with a view to doubling the number of women angel investors here in the UK.

All information submitted will be treated entirely confidentially, with all data aggregated and anonymised.  All women participating in the survey will be offered early access to the findings and invitations to associated conferences, events and roundtables about angel investing.
